Atlanta

In-town Atlanta lots are the opposite of what we deal with in Cherokee County. Space is tight, neighbours are close, and access to the back yard is often through a single side gate. Every square foot has to earn its place, and the work has to be precise because there is nowhere for a mistake to hide.

Courtyard patios, stone terraces that resolve an awkward level change, and screening that buys privacy without swallowing the yard are the recurring requests. Material choice matters more at this scale — a large-format paver that reads well across a half-acre can overwhelm a twenty-by-twenty courtyard.

Privacy planting is its own discipline. The instinct is to plant the fastest-growing evergreen available, which in ten years produces a wall of overgrown Leyland cypress in decline. We plant layered screening at a scale that fits, with species that hold their form and do not become the next owner's removal project.

We take Atlanta projects in Buckhead, Vinings, Brookhaven, Chastain Park and West Midtown. Given the distance from Canton, we schedule in-town work in blocks — reach out early if you have a timeline.
